It’s that time of the year again when the exciting SAP sponsored First Lego League competition takes place on the 1 November 2014at the KZN Department of Education Training Institute. Schools have been preparing throughout the year for the title of First Lego League KZN champions.
First Lego League is a competition that gets learners thinking about global issues and giving them the tools and analytical problem solving skills to learn how to address such issues in a fun and exciting environment. As part of the preparation, The KZN Science Centre has been providing support and training to prepare the participants for this competition. Fifteen KZN schools will be participating and they were provided with Lego valued at over R10 000 sponsored by SAP to develop their skills and prepare for the competition.

Education is a key focus of SAP and we see the First Lego League competition as a way of educating and inspiring learners to be our scientists of tomorrow”.
